September 12th - The PCFD13 Firefighters Association* has received a $50,000 grant from the Charity Trust Board of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. We are grateful for this assistance towards the purchase of new self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). This life-saving equipment expires in 2027 and with the recent promulgation of new NFPA standards, we must act now to accommodate manufacturer lead times and procurement processes. The Fire District is also seeking additional funding sources to help minimize the fiscal impact of such a large capital purchase.
