NorthPoint Cooperative Preschool Visit, February 26, 2018
The preschoolers from NorthPoint Cooperative Preschool visited PCFD13 fire station 77 today for a tour. Letting kids get to see the firefighters before and after they have geared up is really important. Chief often tells a story about a young child who hid and the firefighters couldn't find the child. Giving high-fives and hugs is our way of reinforcing positive relationships with the firefighters. It is good to have children continue to get to know their firefighters while in their gear and not in their gear!
The preschoolers and parents also sang a special song with the firefighters. Be sure to check out our facebook page to learn the song for your next station tour!
