The Board of Commissioners of Pierce County Fire Protection District No. 13 (“District”) welcomes registered voters of the District to apply for appointment to the elective office of Fire District Commissioner. There is presently one vacancy on the Board.

Please include your mailing address and telephone number in your letter of interest.  You may choose, but are not required, to include along with your letter any information about your experience or background that you believe would be helpful for the District Commissioners to consider during the selection process.

All letters of interest for the vacant Commissioner position must be received by Fire Chief Jim Wassall, at the address above, by 4:00 PM, Monday, January 12, 2026 .  All persons submitting letters of interest must be resident-electors of the District.
