Give-N-Grow Kids visit Browns Point Fire Department, January 22, 2019
On January 12th, 2019 the kids and leaders from Give-N-Grow came to visit Browns Point Fire Department. Give-N-Grow is a non-profit community group for parents located in University Place that teaches kids about the importance of giving back to the communities they live in or visit. The kids age range is from 2-7 years old.
While at the fire department the kids get to meet the fire fighters who volunteer their time and learn about the importance of what the fire fighters do. Additionally, the kids get to sit behind the fire engine wheel and see the fire fighters in their bunker gear! The volunteer fire fighters on staff that day included: Lieutenant Luis Szarko, FF/EMTs Leanna Thomas, Jake Brown, Alex Genschaw and Colin Snider.
Thank you for visiting us! See you next year.
